Compassionate Care for Healthful Longevity

Hello!

Posture and ergonomics have long been my passions.  My training and experience afford me the tools to help my clients achieve more ease and efficiency in their movement, whether to optimize sports performance or insure safety in activities of daily living.

I believe that no matter the condition, we can make improvement.  Working as a TEAM, we explore the possibilities to ease restrictions, increase fluidity of movement, and decrease pain.  I always work within one's tolerance, and use two-way communication for the best possible outcomes.

Appointments are available for Structural Integration, Myofascial Bodywork, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Therapeutic Massage

Structural Integration is a 12 Session Series designed to change the way your body opposes gravity and to help move body tissue closer to the gravitational core.  This work was originally designed by Ida Rolf, with the assistance of Buckminster Fuller and Moshe Feldenkrais.  First we perform a detailed body history and postural evaluation.  Each session's protocol is sequential to the next, incorporating movement to insure solidifying new patterns into your being.  This is truly transformational work!

Myofascial Bodywork addresses the connective tissues surrounding primarily the body's muscular system, but affecting other systems, as well. Often restrictions in movement and range of motion can be decreased or erased when the fascial web can be eased.  Great for problem areas, scar tissue of various types, and for those not yet ready to enroll for a Twelve Series.  Sessions are done largely on dry skin, usually finishing with some smooth integrative strokes to cement changes and calm the system.

Neuromuscular Therapy uses trigger point work based on a postural assessment, with stretching to create a new tonus.  Originally designed by Dr. Janet Travell (president Kennedy's doctor), this method was devised by Paul St. John.
